Thoughts

After work today I went for a jog. While running, I thought:

A) The reflecting pool in front of the Capitol is the worst thing I have ever smelled. Must be lowtide.
B) Do the other joggers think my Pogues shirt is as cool as I think it is?
C) 2 months ago, I dropped my ipod in a glass of water. For about a week it wouldn't turn on, and I thought I'd never get it to work again. Much to my delight it started working about a week later, but the backlight still doesn't work which makes a song change in the dark pretty difficult. That's really annoying, but I should be happy with the fact that it plays music. I feel like the parents of a kidnapped child, who after their joyous reunion with their son find out that he is now a Jehovah's Witness. Kinda bittersweet.
D) Does that guy really think that his RBI double in kickball will impress that girl? He probably does, but she's totally nailing the dude playing softball on the next field.

There was more, but I'm watching Scottish guys hunt pheasant on the Travel Channel.
